Emerging Artists Exhibit
presented by the Artists Atelier of Atlanta

– PROSPECTUS –
The purpose of this exhibit is to present a body of work by a select number of emerging artists who have not had an opportunity to present more than one or two of their pieces in the past. The show will be juried and judged by a small panel of senior artists from the Artists Atelier Gallery & Studios, led by Dee Venzer, a nationally acclaimed oil painter.

December 19, 2016: Entries selected and posted on www.artistsatelier.com
January 4 – 7, 2017: Delivery of artwork between 11am – 1pm
January 8 – February 28, 2017: EXHIBIT DATES
January 21 and February 18, 2017: “Meet the Artists” receptions from 12pm – 4pm
February 28, 2017: Pick-up of artwork between 11am – 4pm
Media: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ink, pencil, mixed media, collage, photography, ceramic, mosaic, fiber, or sculpture
MAXIMUM Size: 48” height or width for 2-D work, 36” height for sculpture, and 25 pounds for any artwork
Not Acceptable: Reproductions, giclees, videos, or installations
Framing: White or off-white mats; gallery-wrapped canvases (deeper than 1”) are acceptable without framing; properly wired for hanging (no saw-tooth hangers)
Pricing: All artwork will be priced by the artist and will be less than $1,000.
How to Submit: At least 5 JPEGS under 200K emailed to jlew0204@gmail.com. CDs, or storage devices with USB connection may be mailed or hand-delivered to the Artists Atelier. Framing should be cropped out. Include contact information, website (if available), title, size, medium, and price. There is no submission fee.
Commission Structure: The artist will receive 70% of his/her sale, and the Artists Atelier will retain 30% of a sale as commission. Sales tax is paid by the buyer. Payment for sold artwork is made to the Artists Atelier. Payment to the selling artist will be made within the next 10 business days.
Artists who participate in this exhibit agree to allow the Artists Atelier to use photos of their artwork for marketing purposes.
