Hindman Auctions blooms this month with artwork, furniture and decorative objects from important regional collections and estates featured in the Atlanta Collections timed online auction May 17-21.

One of the standout collections in the Atlanta sale is the Collection of Noel and Kathryn Dickinson Wadsworth of Atlanta. The Wadsworths were founders of the museum at Auburn University, and Time magazine featured their American and European art collection in the 1980s. Contemporary art lovers will find works bestowed by philanthropist and art collector Vera List of New York to Atlanta family members, Mark and Jane Cohen. Major works from both collections may be found through Hindman’s flagship saleroom in Chicago in the fine art sales taking place May 3-5.

Early landscape and portrait paintings from the Estate of Stewart O. Cunningham will be sold to benefit Historic Macon Foundation’s Lanier Education Endowment Fund while artwork and sculpture from the Estate of Anne B. Eldridge will be sold to benefit The Booth Museum of Western Art and The Salvation Army. And antique furniture and British hunt and sporting art may be found in the Collection of Jane and Terry Bradshaw of Alpharetta. The Eldridge and Bradshaw collections are also represented in Hindman’s Western Art auction this month through the Denver saleroom.
