Atlanta-Based Ecommerce Entrepreneur Opens New Flagship Brick and Mortar Store – Topography Home

Topography HomeATLANTA, GEORGIA (October 29, 2018) – Fine furniture lovers, designers, and haute home décor aficionados are about to be dazzled by Atlanta ecommerce entrepreneur Chris Campbell’s new, luxe flagship brick and mortar store, Topography Home. The 5,600-square-foot showroom serves as an anchor for Campbell’s successful online business, Interior HomeScapes (, which he founded in 2002. Interior HomeScapes is now a top furniture ecommerce site and was among the first national online stores to offer curated lines from major fine furniture manufacturers to the interior design trade as well as to the public. The brand has operated as a major competitor to top-selling e-retailers since its inception and has made Elle Décor’s “80+ Best Furniture Websites For Online Shopping Like A Design Expert” consecutively since 2015.

Located at 727 Miami Circle, the space was home to Curran Fabrics for decades and today houses the Marlowe School and the Painted Pin. Campbell and his team spent several months undergoing a massive renovation to transform the 60s era building into a fresh, modern space to feature the swoon-worthy furniture, lighting, and décor from Arteriors, Bungalow 5, Caracole, Global Views, Interlude Home, Jamie Young, John Richard, Noir, Regina Andrew, Solaria, Stanford, Surya, Worlds Away, and more.

“Building the Atlanta showroom has been a long-time goal of mine,” says Campbell. “I’ve been holding out for the perfect location, and when the Miami Circle site became available, I knew it was ideal. The bones of the building were great and the location is perfect for our target customers. Plus, the area is steeped in history, serving as a mecca for designers and furniture enthusiast for decades.”

Topography HomeCampbell set out to tailor his customer experience to the modern shopper, stating, “Customers can enjoy the traditional experience of entering our brick and mortar store and perusing our collection of hand-selected products to get a taste of all that we have to offer. But having come from ecommerce and really understanding the value of technology, we’ve also incorporated touchscreen monitors into our space, which allows us to instantly show customers our extensive collection, additional finishes, product images, or let them just surf our website. On top of this, customers have the added advantage of being able to place their order in person or on the web, in the comfort of their own home. Being a web-based company gives us the unique capability to ship our specialty items, large and small, to customers anywhere in the contiguous United States, so it is well suited for both intown and out-of-town shoppers.”
